Besides shooting doing my own wedding photography, I will often second shoot for other photographers. Phoebe & James met whilst working together in the catering industry. James is an incredible chef and I know this because James prepared his own desserts and I was fortunate enough to try them! When there’s a dessert table as fantastic as their’s, this is where I have words with myself to try an act professional and not devour the whole lot!
This wedding made me all warm and fuzzy inside. Phoebe & James were amongst the friendliest people I have encountered and were so affectionate with each other. Love was definitely in the air.
Everything about this wedding was wholesome and good and the final touches had heart. The reception was held in a marquee from Be Upstanding Marquees; the lip-smacking food was provided by Ironbridge Catering who bring a huge smoker to cook meats (Yum!). And the homemade cake was lovingly served by the couple themselves, which again was testament to their good spirit.
Brockhall itself was a sentimental venue for the couple as James’ step father is a resident and spend many years living there with his mother. A tree is now planted there in her memory.
