This years weddings have been incredible so far and we’ve only just started wedding season. Anyone who knows me, knows I absolutely LOVE a good party and Hannah and James’ wedding at Coltsfoot Country Retreat did not disappoint!
The whole day was a treat from beginning to end. These guys have majorly lucked out with an amazing group of friends and family. It was definitely one of those weddings where I might have mentioned that I wanted to be adopted. In fact, it was Pam, a talented photographer who also happens to be Hannah’s mother, who first contacted me. So I felt part of the crew straight away.
Another pure legend was James’ mother who delivered the most moving speech I have witnessed to date. Not because she delved deep into all the awesome facts about her lovely son, but because she did not hold back in cheering and whooping until everybody was up on their feet raising their glasses up in the air and laughing. You cannot miss her in the pictures that follow. As I said, Legend.
If you’re wondering what happens late into a wedding evening after the bar has been open a number of hours and “Oh sit down” from James comes on, you’ll find your answer at the bottom of this post.
Hannah and James, thank you so much for having me as part of your wedding. It was a truly enjoyable day which I won’t forget in a hurry!
Also, huge thanks to Bea for second shooting for me on the day. We always make a super team!
